The door gapes open
I don't think twice
just
walk in.
Reading funnies
climbing the walls
to heaven
where he kneels
and prays.
In this world
of memorable visions
which capture me
like my own image
in a frame
on the shelf
I can't go
and I won't--
just
sink into
the matress
cross my legs
and watch him
talking to me
and memorize
the words
to think about tomorrow.
But today
today I'm locked
in this frame
brown
this whitish
sparklish
whisperish
mostly bluish
frame
this frame
of mind.
