I felt nothing could ever take me away from you.
I told you I'm not afraid of time, distance or change.
In so many ways I'm right . . .
It has been a time to examine my own boundaries.
I've walked the distance of sunsets,
leaned to my lows and reached for rainbows . . .
Sometimes it's people-- all in the present
that take me away.
Sometimes it's activities, with due-dates and deadlines.
They come and go.
And when they're gone, you're still here.
And I realize how much I miss you.
