I found part of a story in an entry by one of my mentors, Jessica, on her website "Balancing Everything." You can check it out yourself by clicking on the link below. It is entitled: "It honors all of us." With her permission, I will provide you with a direct link and some small quotes:
"In my pre-married life, I was an award winning nanny. Seriously. I knew it ALL. I would really like to hire myself at 23. My goodness, I was good. . . Managing my own home, my own children is so different, so much harder for a million different reasons. I forgot, I forgot all of these simple things. . . I forgot to see, how much they love, how much they want, how open and willing they are if I’d just make the time to get down on their level."

When I read her stuff, I feel like she is the twin I never knew. It is like looking at myself in the mirror. It was amazing because I had similar thoughts on my mind as well. And ONLY because I have been counseled to share what I write, and for what it's worth:
Angel Mother
Stop
Call them to you
Look into their eyes
See
Remember
Soft baby hands
and feet
Closed peaceful eyes
Soft words
They will listen
as they knew your lullaby
Say words that teach
comfort
Pass on His peace
Bless this home
Your home
with this Holy Spirit
If He once can stay
angels may attend
If again
angels must minister
It will become
your way
His way
You will be
Angel
Stop

Pass on His peace
Bless this home
